Opencart Add to Quote module allow your customers to request a custom quote. This is a full featured quoting tool for your opencart shopping cart.

This module provides your customers to add to quote to a quotelist and submit a request to the shop owner in an easy way.

Opencart Add to Quote module will help to the Site Owner to give special rates based on the quantity or amount of the products. Customers or visitors can inform to the site owner for increase better services, better quality or better prices of the products or customer can give any sort of suggestion to the site owner by a quick quote.

Admin can view the quote list with quote id, customer name, email, details and date. He can give reply from admin panel and view the reply status of individual quote. Admin needs a valid customer email address to create a quote for them.

This module is best for rental stores, providing custom services, or anything that would benefit from the customer being able to receive a custom quote.

Opencart Add to Quote module has some excellent features and very easy to install or setup.

Opencart Add to Quote module is more flexible and compatible with many existing modules in the Opencart repository. This Module is fully customizable. Users can easily configure the module into the new or existing Opencart websites.

• View the entire quote list with quote id, customer name, customer email, message details and date.

1. Before install the module you should install VQMod first. If you have already installed VQMod then no need to install it again. VQMod download link is http://vqmod.googlecode.com/files/vqmod-2.4.1-opencart.zip.
2. Copy “admin”, “catalog” and “VQMod” folder from oc_add_to_quote >upload  folder and Paste it to your website root directory. You will get folder replacement confirmation then click yes to all, which will never change your any core files.
3. Type your url with “sc_sql.php” in browser (www.yoursitename.com/sc_sql.php) and press enter to create database table automatically in yourweb site for this module.
4. Now go to your Admin Panel and Install “SC Product Quotation” Module from Extensions > Modules > SC Product Quotation.

5. Now go to Extension > Modules > SC Product Quotation and click “Edit” button you will see the “Design Button Settings” and “Settings” of “SC Product Quotation” Module. Click on the “Settings” tab and insert the following text in “Add Success Text” textbox “Added quote successfully into <a href='index.php?route=quote/quote'>Quote List</a>”.  You can create a menu button or link on your website using that link (index.php?route=quote/quote) as an anchor tag.

6. After customize the settings go to Catalog > Products > Insert > Data tab and scroll down you will find “Allow Product Quote”. Just change it to “Always” or “Stock Empty”.
7. To view the quote list in admin panel go to Catalog > “Quotation List” and send the customer reply from here. (It will appear after “Add to Quote” a product from frontend).
8. Go to frontend and you will find “Quote Button” after “Add to Cart” button in a product. Just click on it and you will view a success message below the top menu of your site. Click on the “Quote List” link you will view total “Product Quotation List”. From here customer can send quote to the shop owner. (For more view the module screen shots below)

A button will appear in every or particular product, e.g. “Add to Quote” or “Request Quote”. Customers or Visitors can click on this button to add product(s) in their quote list. Then they can send quote, comment or suggestion to the shop owner with other fields (like name, email, message etc.).
