You can use this module to promote your products or give some instant news, offers, announcement, and greetings messages to the customer about the specific product. 1. Before install the module you should install VQMod first (Upload VQMod folder, type http://www.yoursitename.com/vqmod/install/ and press enter). If you have already installed VQMod then no need to install it again. VQMod software download link is http://vqmod.googlecode.com/files/vqmod-2.4.1-opencart.zip
2. Import “sql_script.sql” into your database. If you have prefix in your Database table then set the prefix in this new table. Just open the SQL file (sql_script.sql) and rename all the prefix by your prefix.
3. Copy “admin”, “catalog” and “VQMod” folder from opencart_product_content_popup folder and Paste it to your website root directory. You will get folder replacement confirmation then click yes to all, which will never change your any core files.
4. Now go to your Admin Panel and Install “Product Content Popup Setup” Module from Extensions-> Modules -> Product Content Popup Setup.
5. Go to System > Users > User Groups > Top Administrator and allow the permission by checking “pcontent/pcontent” for both “Access Permission” and “Modify Permission”.
6. Now go to Extension-> Modules -> Product Content Popup Setup and click “Edit” button you will see the control panel of “Product Content Popup Setup” Module.
7. Just configure the settings and click to save.
8. Now go to Catalog > Products of Admin panel and click on a product image, it will appear a popup. Insert Text, Image or Embedded Video on “Product Content” area, “Enable” the status and press “Save” button.
9. Go to frontend of this product details page and Popup will load on the page refresh.
10. Now play with the module!
