1. Before install the module you should install VQMod first. If you have already installed VQMod then no need to install it again. VQMod software download link is http://vqmod.googlecode.com/files/vqmod-2.4.1-opencart.zip.
2. Copy “admin”, “catalog” and “VQMod” folder from opencart_mailchimp folder and Paste it to your website root directory. You will get folder replacement confirmation then click yes to all, which will never change your any core files.
3. Now go to your Admin Panel and Install “Opencart MailChimp” Module from Extensions-> Modules -> Opencart MailChimp.
4. Now go to Extension-> Modules -> Opencart MailChimp and click “Edit” button you will see the control panel of “Opencart MailChimp” Module.
5. Now put the API Key and List id from www.mailchimp.com*
6. Configure the settings and click to save.
7. MailChimp checkbox will show on the Payment Area of Frontend
